How much do you know about SPF?

Current marketing tactics have labels such as SPF 60-100 to give the impression that it will provide the most coverage. You do not have to avoid lower SPF numbers. Check out the comparison:
SPF 30 - blocks 97% UVB Rays
SPF 50 - blocks 98% UVB Rays
Not much of a difference, right? You do not need to spend more just to feel safe with high SPF numbers. As long as you apply sunscreen every 2-3 hours, you are still protecting your skin from sun damage.
What you really want to look for is Broad Spectrum sunscreen. These products are approved by the FDA to protect against both UVA and UVB rays.
UVA rays cause your skin to age faster, while UVB rays cause sun burn! That's why it's so important to invest in a product that protects you against both.
Those that are not Broad Spectrum only protect against UVA rays, and the actual amount of SPF may not reflect what's labeled on the packaging. Broad Spectrum products will always have an accurate amount of SPF that matches the labels due to its FDA approval.
Try our Brightening Protection Day Moisturizer with Broad Spectrum SPF 50 for peace of mind and an added bonus of diminishing dark spots from sun damage.
